PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet paper roll centered rod rendering its assembly task easier than that of a conventional one and excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: When a movable shaft 10 is inserted from an opening 6, the shaft 10 advances toward the inside of a hollow part while a narrow part of the breadth of a slit 7 elastically deforms itself to widen its breadth. When a projection 15 passes the narrow part of the slit 7, the part elastically deformed returns to the original slit breadth. Thereby the projection 15 is caught by a part of a right-angle face 9 of the centered rod side to make the shaft 10 not to slip out of the opening 6. Consequently just inserting the shaft 10 from the opening 6 allows the toilet paper roll centered rod 1 to be assembled, rendering the assembly task easier than that of the conventional one.
