PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate interference in a wireless communication system.
SOLUTION: Respective GW monitors monitor interference that their base stations receive, and one GW (for example, GW1) informs other GWs (GW2, GW3) involved in the ST and LT spectrum assignment and sharing process when the GW1 knows that itself is inflicted by interference. The GW1 sends a list of interference-troubled sub-channels to other GWs. The other GWs consider all the possible combinations of sub-channel allocations to their own base stations, avoiding all the red sub-channels in the list provided by the interference-troubled GW 1 as much as they can. If one or more red sub-channels are unavoidable, other GWs consider all the combinations of sub-channel allocations to their own base stations employing a minimum number of red sub-channels. Then, these GWs inform their own base stations of their preferred sub-channel allocation and the troubled GW 1 of the completion of the process.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
