PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system capable of suppressing deletion of image data in a receiving side even if the communication state is unexpectedly deteriorated. SOLUTION: A communication state monitoring section 109 monitors a communication state. A response section 110 wirelessly transmits communication state information indicating the communication state to a transmission section 101. A response receiving section 104 receives the communication state information and outputs it to a transmission data extraction section 105. The transmission data extraction section 105 extracts data of a predetermined image region from the image data stored in an image buffer 103 based on the communication state information.
