ELECTRODELESS DISCHARGE LAMP AND LIGHTING FIXTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp and a lighting fixture which have a high light emission efficiency and shorten a starting time in a dark place. SOLUTION: The electrodeless discharge lamp includes a cavity 4 and an exhausting fine tube 5 which are formed integrally inside a bulb 2 of a glass ball shape in which a discharging gas is enclosed, and a coupler 15 composed of a ferrite core 9 and an induction coil 10 is provided in the cavity 4. A long afterglow phosphor 16b is applied on a circumferential surface of the cavity 4 in the bulb 2. A base portion of the bulb 2 is fixed on the base 3, and the coupler 15 is coupled through a hole of the base 3 along with an outer circumferential surface of the bulb of the cavity 4, and a base portion of the coupler 15 is fixed removable with the base portion of the base 3.
