Disclosed is a transporting device for load supporting elements, e.g. pallets. Said transporting device is dimensioned so as to be able to drive under the clearance of the profiled section of the load supporting elements. All functional elements are accommodated within a load supporting part that picks up the load supporting element. The supporting device is driven, steered, and lifted by means of single drive units such as electric motors. A control method controls the drive units in such a way that the driving, lifting, and steering functions can be performed by means of the same drive units. |
