A method and process used to remotely verify the identity of an individual b y capturing live biometric information from the individual and information fro m photo identification provided by the individual then electronically sending the information to a remote operator for comparison. The method involves the steps of electronically capturing the image, printed text and or encoded information from the front and or back of a photo identification document; capturing an image and or video clip of the individual who provide d the photo identification; and transmitting the information across a network and displaying the information to an operator. |
