Processing machine and process for bending workpieces

The machine has a shaping die (8) movable relative to a shaping mold in a processing direction (5) for impingement on a workpiece (14) for bending two sides (15, 16) of the workpiece against each other below a bending angle (beta). Roller shaped probe elements (19a, 20a) of a bending angle measuring device (18) are held only at the side (15) in a measuring position, and execute rolling motion along the side (15) during changing of the bending angle. Plate shaped retaining elements (19, 20) are rotatably mounted at the probe elements and move relative to the die and the mold in the direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for bending a workpiece.
