Glass trim element (1), in which an approximately planar plate (10) extends vertically behind the glass (4), continuous with the plane of this glass, so that the forward extremity (24) of the trim element covers the rear part of the glass, and in which this plate carries an approximately perpendicular bearing means (16) able to bear against a door structure (3), while a clamping means (26) serves to secure the bearing means (16) to the door structure, said element being characterized in that a single rib (18) is formed towards the free extremity (20) of the bearing means, so that the trim element bears against the door structure (3) via this rib, and in that a protuberance (22) is formed towards the forward extremity (24) of the trim element in such a way that this protuberance (22) applies pressure to the glass. |
