PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analysis apparatus capable of easily setting analysis parameters. SOLUTION: The automatic analysis apparatus includes an analytical information storage part 21 for relating analysis parameters, which contains the amount of reagents in reagent information for measurements through the use of the reagents of the reagent information, to the reagent information for identifying reagents usable by an analytical part 18 and storing them; a reader 1b for reading reagent information written in reagent containers 6, which houses a first reagent, for identifying reagents in the reagent containers 6; and an analysis parameter setting part 23 for setting the analysis parameters related to the reagents used for measurements at the analytical part 18. In the case that the same information as reagent information read by the reader 1b is stored in the analytical information storage part 21, the analysis parameter setting part 23 reads analysis parameters related to the same information from the analytical information storage part 21 and sets the analysis parameters.
