<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a polarizing plate which is improved in durability by suppressing cracking while maintaining water barrier properties, and to provide a display device with the polarizing plate manufactured by the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the polarizer includes a step of coating the polarizer 2 with a coating liquid prepared dissolving polysilazane and an organic resin in a solvent to form a coating film, and a step of subjecting the coating film to reaction curing to form an organic-inorganic hybrid film 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
