<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a blade system in which a plurality of blade servers are mounted in one housing and the plurality of blade servers are connected at a backplane, a user is likely to pull out an operating blade server by mistake, which is removable regardless of operation state thereof, thereby causing system-down or adversely affecting whole system. <P>SOLUTION: A lock mechanism is provided, which locks or unlocks a blade server to/from the housing in accordance with a power supply state of the blade server. The blade server receiving the power is prevented from being erroneously pulled out, thereby preventing the entire system from being affected such as system down. Furthermore, the lock is automatically released when the power of the blade server is cut off to thereby prevent erroneous unlocking of the blade server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
