[PROBLEMS] A bending construction vehicle suitable for traveling on a normal roadway and steered in a manner suitable also for work in a construction site. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The bending construction vehicle has a bendable self-propelled vehicle body (1), a hydraulic cylinder (2) for bending the self-propelled vehicle body, a pilot-operated direction changeover valve (5) for controlling the flow of pressurized oil to the hydraulic cylinder (2), an operation device (6) for a steering wheel, for outputting, when the steering wheel (7A) is operated, a pilot signal to a signal receiving section of a direction changeover valve (7) to change over the changeover valve (5), a control device (10) for an electric lever, for outputting an electric signal when tilting operation of a lever (11A) is performed, a controller (11) for allowing the electric signal from the operation device (10) to be inputted in it, signal conversion means for converting the electric signal into a pilot signal to output the pilot signal to a signal receiving section of the direction changeover valve (5), changing over the changeover valve (5), and selection means having an operation system for allowing rotation operation of the steering wheel (7A) and tilting operation of the operation lever (11A) to be selectively performed.
