<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary instrument for a knee joint which smooths a motion of a joint or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A hinge assembly 300 of the auxiliary instrument comprises: a first link 310 which is hinge-joined to the upper part of a lower supporter 100, which supports a calf and a lower part of an upper supporter 200 which supports a thigh; a second link 320 having a linear slit 321, which is hinge-joined to the lower supporter 100 at a position away from the first link 310 and placed on a connection with the upper supporter 200 and having a curved slit 322, which is placed at a position away from the linear slit 321; a first hinge part 330, which hinge-joins the lower supporter 100 to the second link 320; a second hinge part 340, which hinge-joins the lower supporter 100 to the first link 310; a third hinge part 350, which hinge-joins the upper supporter 200 to the first link 310 and is slidably joined to the linear slit 321; and a rotatable connection 360, which is joined to the upper supporter 200 and slidably joined to the curved slit 322. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
