PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in cost and prevent dew condensation from occurring in a box body by forming a ventilation duct integrally with a console box without using a slide core. SOLUTION: Vertical walls 11 projecting downward and extending in the longitudinal direction and lateral walls 12 projecting from the bottom ends of the vertical walls to at least one of the left and right directions and extending in the longitudinal direction are formed integrally with the bottom plate 10 of the box body 1. The ventilation duct 7 is formed in the space partitioned by the bottom plate 10, the vertical walls 11, the lateral walls 12, and side panels 2, 3. Since the console box is formed of the box body 1 and the pair of left and right side panels 2, 3, the ventilation duct 7 can be easily formed integrally with the bottom part of the box body 1 without using the slide core.
