PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system imposing deterioration of an optical characteristic value of an image accompanying a change in a magnification on an image processing system to totally improve image quality by paying attention to the optical characteristic value accompanied by difficulty in a load in an imaging system and not accompanied by difficulty in processing in the image processing system. SOLUTION: This image processing system has: the imaging system having a CCD 2a, imaging a subject, and outputting a subject image signal output from the CCD 2a as pixel data; a converting buffer memory 7 sequentially temporarily storing the pixel data according to each coordinate position; a database 10 storing correction processing information to be applied to each pixel data temporarily stored in the converting buffer memory 7 in each pixel; and a correction processing circuit 9 performing correction processing to each pixel data stored in each coordinate position of the converting buffer memory 7 based on the correction processing information stored in the database 10, and sequentially outputting each pixel data applied with the correction processing. In the image processing system, the correction processing information stored in the database 10 is changed according to the change in the magnification of the imaging system.
