An exhaust hood with an interception plate is provided to completely block oil drops generation from a suction fan, a motor and a filter by an interception plate, thereby preventing the oil from dropping down to food. An exhaust hood with an interception plate includes a motor(100), a suction fan(200), a case(300) formed with a filter(310) on a bottom surface for inhaling oil stains generated in the process of cooking and an interception plate(400) mounted between an upper part of the case and a lower part of the suction fan for blocking the oil stains introduced into the motor and the suction fan primarily, wherein the interception plate has a size larger than that of the suction fan.
