A method for laboratory diagnostics of fat embolism comprises the stage of microscopic blood test for the determination of marrowy fat content in blood. In addition, 20-50 μl of test sample of native blood is stratified on silicon film on slide plate, maintained during 20-30 min. at the temperature of 18- and analyzed in the field of microscope by the method of polarizing fluorescence, and the conclusion about the presence of fat embolism is made by the limitation of drop diffluence on the silicon film surface and by the suppression of to braking of typical reaction of leucocytes on silicon as cellular migration and cytolysis. |
