A web browser address bar information service method is provided to track and analyze web site-visiting inclinations of each user according to IP addresses used by the users' local computers, thus a customized advertisement can be posted. An IP address of a local computer system that drives a web browser is sensed(201). Predetermined default information is indicated in text type within an address bar of the currently executed web browser screen(203). After particular text is inputted within the address bar of the web browser screen, and input of a mobile command is sensed(205). The inputted particular text is extracted. An extracted text character string and an IP address are transmitted to an information providing server, so that information related to the character string is inquired about(207). Information transmitted from the server is expressed within the address bar(209). |
