PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutware capable of rigidly fixing even a small cut insert to a holder, reducing time required for replacement of the cut insert and exhibiting high working efficiency. SOLUTION: The cutware includes the cut insert having an upper surface, a lower surface, a side face and a cutting edge formed at the intersection of the upper surface and the side face, and the holder to which the cut insert is fixed. The cutware is characterized by that a ferromagnetic film is formed on at least a part of a surface of the cut insert in contact with the holder and that the cut insert is fixed to the holder by magnetic force.
