<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing ink jet recording sheet which has excellent deodorizing effect, also has excellent immediate potential and durability, and can obtain a picture-like image. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorizing ink jet recording sheet is characterized in that the surface of a support comprising a pulp fiber in which a carboxyl group is incorporated by graft polymerization, and also, the carboxyl group is substituted with at least one kind of metal ion selected from the group consisting of Zn<SP>2+</SP>, Cu<SP>2+</SP>, Ni<SP>2+</SP>, Mn<SP>2+</SP>, Ag<SP>+</SP>and Fe<SP>2+</SP>, and which is pulverized, so as to be a fiber length of 250 to 1,000 μm is provided with an ink receiving layer comprising a mordant and silica. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
