SHIELD METHOD SEGMENT CAULKING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caulking material having improved durability while developing water cutoff performance in spite of relatively low mounting accuracy. SOLUTION: The shield method segment caulking material 10a to be used in a shield method is mounted between adjacent segments. It comprises a core layer 11 formed of a soft solid rubber, and a cover layer 12 formed of a hard solid rubber harder than the soft solid rubber to cover the core layer 11. The shield method segment has an anticorrosive layer formed of a non-reinforced concrete and integrally provided on the inner peripheral face of the segment as part of the inner peripheral face of a tunnel wall body, and the caulking material mounted via bonding adhesive and/or sticking adhesive onto the inner periphery side of a bonded portion of the segment bonded to the other segment.
