PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further simplify a structure of a switch device of a type pressing a knob sideways, arranged at a side face of an electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The switch device, provided with a base member 10, a diaphragm 30, and a lever member 50 arranged along a top face of the base member 10 in free parallel movement, and passes electricity between a first conductive pattern 21 and a second conductive pattern 22 arranged on the top face of the base member 10 with the diaphragm 30 by moving the lever member 50 in parallel to press down the diaphragm 30 toward a base member 10 side. The lever member 50 includes a thin plate part 53 with elasticity, a tip of the thin plate part 53 of the lever member is locked to a wall part of the base member or a member arranged on that base member, and, with deformation of the thin plate part 53 due to parallel movement of the lever member 50, the diaphragm 30 is pressed down toward a base member side, and elastic force of the thin plate part 53 is to generate force of returning to a direction contrary to the pressed direction.
