PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus which has a failure diagnostic function enabled to accurately specify an abnormal point of a multi-channel X-ray detection means. SOLUTION: Detection data by each X-ray detection element of an X-ray detection device 13 are collected via each DAS of a DAS unit 17 based on failure diagnostic conditions stored in a failure diagnostic processing part 38. The collected data are compared with reference data preliminarily stored in the failure diagnostic processing part 38.
