摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problems that brightness variations are caused, because a uniform current cannot be made to flow to an organic EL element due to variations in a current amplification factor &beta; and a threshold voltage Vth of a pixel circuit, in a display device or that the addition of an element to the pixel circuit for correcting the current amplification factor &beta; and the threshold voltage Vth increases the pixel area which has hindered enhancement in the resolution. <P>SOLUTION: Dispersion information of the current amplification factor &beta; and the threshold voltage Vth of the pixel circuit are digitally stored in a memory, in advance, and digital data is read in per pixel to obtain a difference between gate-source voltages Vgs of two MOSs; and by inputting the difference to the pixel circuit, a drive current value which does not depend on the current amplification factor &beta; or on the threshold voltage Vth is thereby obtained in the organic EL element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
