<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic roller capable of maintaining a form of a cell formed in a cellular elastic layer over a long period, a fixing device for an image forming device contributing to formation of an image of high quality over a long period, and the image forming device capable of forming the image of high quality over a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The elastic roller 1 includes a shaft body 2, and the cellular elastic layer 3 where a foamed rubber composition containing rubber, iron oxide and a foaming agent is cured on an outer circumferential face of the shaft body 2, and the iron oxide contains 0.10-0.90 mass% of sulfur compound.
