<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection implement which enables simple and easy inspection of the troubles of a valve provided for a tube joint. <P>SOLUTION: The inspection implement 50 is designed for inspecting the valve 10 of the tube joint C which has an outer tube 20; an inner tube 30, the valve 10 which comes into external contact with the inner tube, and a member 40 for biasing the valve and of which the flow path L is closed up by the contact of a diameter-expansion head part 11 of the valve 10 with a diameter-contracting part 21 of the outer tube 20. This inspection implement 50 has a tubular body 60, having the same shape as that of the tip part of the outer tube 20; a base 70 having a recess 71, into which this tip part can be inserted and a communication aperture 72 communicating with the recess; a shaft material 80, which is disposed inside the tubular body 60 and on which the valve 10 is so disposed as to be brought into external contact therewith; a fixing mechanism which fixes the shaft material to the tubular body 60; and a biasing member 90 for the valve 10. The diameter-expanding head part 11 and the diameter-contracting part 61 are brought into contact with each other by biasing the valve 10, and the part of the contact faces the inside of the recess 71.
