<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality control of a flat cable and dimensional accuracy of a window part. <P>SOLUTION: While respective excessive wires 9 arranged on both end sides of a plurality of conductors 3 arranged in parallel to one another and second insulation tapes 15 arranged on the other surface sides of the conductors 3 run at the same speed as that of the plurality of conductors 3, a first insulation tape 25 paid out from a first insulation tape roll 23 is cut at a preset cut length to form paper sheet-like insulation tapes 21; and a part on the front side of each paper sheet-like insulation tape 21 is intermittently tentatively fixed to the excessive wires 9 to form a window part 35 between the paper sheet-like insulation tapes 21 adjacent to each other in the front-rear direction on the excessive wires 9 by sucking the paper sheet-like insulation tapes 21 by a suction device 33. A flat cable 43 is manufactured by heating and sticking the conductors 3, the paper sheet-like tape 21 and the second insulation tape 15 between a pair of heat rolls 39, the dimension of the window part 35 is measured by imaging the window part 35 by an imaging means 55 to determine whether the window part 35 of the flat cable 43 conforms to a dimensional tolerance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
