<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the cleaning characteristic of a threadedly engaged plastic cap having a threadedly engaged cap having screw threads engaging with a wall of a container mouth on an inner surface of a skirt-like side wall of the cap, and surely preventing a stored liquid from adhering to and remaining on the outer surface of the wall of a container mouth. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of circumferential extending cleaning slits 20 are spaced apart and formed in a circumferential direction of a skirt-like side wall 3 of a cap at a location where they are positioned higher than screw thread 11 threadedly engaged with a wall of a container mouth 50, and the inner surface of the skirt-like side wall 3 where the cleaning slits 20 are formed is formed with vertical ribs 30 extending in a vertical direction to pass through both ends of each of the cleaning slits 20 in their circumferential direction or between them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
