The invention relates to a device for producing a biomass containing any species of micro-algae and cyano-bacteria, more generally any micro-organism whose growth depends on photosynthesis in a liquid medium. Moreover, the device includes confinement housing imbedded and built in situ: i) the first confinement housing includes a photo-bioreactor including two juxtaposed inter-dependent sub-devices consisting of a) a culture chamber (1) and b) a thermal block (2) juxtaposed to said culture chamber (1) at one end (4) thereof at least; ii) the second confinement housing (5) contains the technical blocks (2) of several juxtaposed photo-bioreactors. The invention also relates to a method for producing said biomass using said device. |
