<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device or the like which picks up an image around the device and controls a display screen on the basis of an analysis result of the picked-up image. <P>SOLUTION: A display control device 100 includes a display screen 270 and a camera 260 for picking up a front image of the display screen 270 and analyzes the picked-up image to perform display control of the display screen 270. The display control device 270 includes: a face recognition processing part 210 for recognizing a face of a person occupying a prescribed or larger area in the image picked up by the camera 260, a feature extraction processing part 220 for extracting features of the face from a face image; a feature data storage table 250 wherein the features of the face are preliminarily stored as feature data; a determination processing part 230 for determining whether the extracted features of the face agree with feature data preliminarily stored in the feature data storage table 250 by comparing them with each other; and a display control processing part 240 for controlling display data displayed in the display screen, into a non-display state when the determination processing part 230 determines that the extracted features don't agree with the feature data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
