MANUFACTURING METHOD OF POLYMER HAVING (POLY) ALKYLENE GLYCOL CHAIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a polymer which can be suitably used for various uses such as a cement admixture and can develop high dispersion performance to a cement composition.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the polymer having a (poly)alkylene glycol chain by polymerizing a monomer component containing an unsaturated (poly)alkylene glycol based ether monomer includes: a step for reacting alkylene oxide with a monomer component in which an unsaturated (poly) alkylene glycol based ether monomer whose average addition number of moles of an oxyalkylene group is <30 and the isomer thereof are mixed in a ratio of 100:0 to 2 by mass to obtain a monomer component in which an unsaturated (poly)alkylene glycol based ether monomer whose average addition number of moles of the oxyalkylene group is ≥50 and the isomer thereof are mixed in a ratio of 100:0 to 10 by mass; and a step for polymerizing the monomer component containing the unsaturated (poly) alkylene glycol based ether monomer whose average addition number of moles of the oxyalkylene group is ≥50 as an indispensable component.
