PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conveying a glass ribbon without causing the meandering of the glass ribbon. SOLUTION: In the method for conveying the glass ribbon in a slow cooling furnace that the glass ribbon G where molten glass taken out from a glass melting furnace is formed through roll out with a pair of forming rolls or which is taken out from a float bath is slowly cooled while being conveyed on rotating glass conveying rolls 1A, 1B and 1C, the conveying direction of the glass ribbon is controlled by changing an angle of a plurality of the rotating glass conveying rolls positioning before and after in the slow cooling furnace while contacting with the glass ribbon to the conveying direction of the glass ribbon and spaces between the glass conveying rolls.
