Communication device and method of data transfer

The method involves transmitting data elements of a transmitter (3a) to a receiver (4) via a data bus (2), and determining transmitted data amount. The amount is compared with a preset data amount associated to the transmitter. The determination and comparison steps are repeated when the amount is smaller than the preset amount. The elements are received from the bus, and a count assigned to another transmitter (3b) is adjusted to the received data amount, and compared with a preset value. The reception and comparison steps are performed if the count does not reach the preset value. An independent claim is also included for a communication device with two transmitters.
