A method for correcting the distortion of a keyboard template in a projection keyboard is provided to make a projected keyboard template have the same screen ratio and slope as a reference keyboard template. A controller photographs a projected keyboard template to generate a photographing image frame(S110), compares the photographing image frame with a pre-stored reference image frame(S120) to detect a vertical slope and a horizontal screen ratio which are parameters of the photographing image frame, and then corrects the vertical slope and horizontal screen ratio of the reference image frame by using the parameters(S130). Finally, the controller projects the corrected image frame to a keyboard template(S140).
