A vegetation mat, a vegetation mat unit containing the same and a construction method thereof are provided to prevent a vegetation base material from moving downward, thereby uniformly rooting seeds or plants in the whole area of the vegetation mat. A vegetation base material(113) facilitates plant rooting. A support frame(112) located in a perpendicular direction of the vegetation base material allows the vegetation base material to be evenly distributed and improves durability. An upper net(111) located between the vegetation base material and support frame protects the vegetation base material. A lower net(114) formed between the vegetation base material and the bottom of the support frame protects the vegetation base material. A vegetation mat(1) includes a wing section(12) extended from the lower net. The upper net, lower net and support frame are made of one or two materials selected from the group consisting of coir fiber, cocopeat, bark and jute. The upper net has a plurality of through-holes in order for seeds or plants to germinate.
