An image reading device for a real image and a reading method using the same are provided to edit the real image by arranging and compounding the taken images and to reduce the time for reading the real image. An image reading device for a real image comprises: a controller(20) including a reassembly unit; and a projecting unit(30) projecting the rearranged and combined image. The controller includes: a recognition unit(220) recognizing character among character elements separated from separated elements; and a magnification/reduction unit(230) adjusting the separated image. The reassembly unit arranges and assembles again the separated element.
