An attribute information providing method of a hyperlinked web page through an icon is provided for a user to know the approximate content of a web page displayed when the user clicks a hyperlinked icon even when the user views only an icon indicating the attribute information. Request information about a web page including digital contents(39-1) is received. Attribute information of a service, which the digital contents or the web page hyperlinked to an icon provides, is displayed with at least one of a symbol, a character, and a figure. The icon(39-3) is positioned in the neighboring of the digital contents. The icon is positioned in positions more than one of next above, just besides, and just down the digital contents. The icon is positioned in one among the circumference position of up, down, left, and right spaced from digital contents at a predetermined interval and the regular interval or is positioned in a set position. |
