The invention relates to an insertable bottom (10) for refrigerators which is used as a multifunctional board and comprises a preferably rotatable rotary plate (20) that can be inserted into a mounting depression (22) of the insertable bottom. The rotary plate is fitted with a thin-walled double bottom. A cold accumulating medium is introduced in a sealed manner into the intermediate space between the two bottom zones such that cold food remains chilled also during the meal in the corresponding receptacles thereof when the rotary plate is removed from the refrigerator and is put on the table as a tray. The multifunctional board can be adjusted to different refrigerator widths by means of an extractable extension board (15) which can be simultaneously used as a thawing and dripping surface for frozen food. Inserted elastic plastic strips (34) along the mounting edges (39) of the multifunctional board ensure that, as a result of lateral pressure on the plastic strips (34), the insertable bottom is prevented from being accidentally pulled out, and tolerances with respect to the internal size of common refrigerator types that conically taper towards the rear on the inside are compensated. |
