PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and highly reliable compressor by reducing the number of components of a refrigerant suction portion, and distortion of a compressive element in a hermetic compressor forming a refrigerant cycle. SOLUTION: This hermetic compressor includes a sealed vessel, an accumulator, a suction outer pipe connecting the sealed vessel and the accumulator, the compressive element in the sealed vessel, and an O-ring in the compressive element. The inner pipe of the accumulator is directly inserted into the O-ring, thereby reducing the distortion and the number of components. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
