PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device having an improved correction performance and smaller display unevenness. SOLUTION: The image display apparatus includes: a face plate with a plurality of light-emitting regions; a rear plate with electron-emitting devices corresponding to the plurality of light-emitting regions, respectively; and a drive circuit that drives the electron-emitting devices. The drive circuit has a correction circuit that calculates a correction value by evaluating influence of emitted electrons from short-range electron-emitting devices being electron-emitting devices which correspond to light-emitting regions around the light-emitting region to be corrected on the light-emitting region to be corrected and corrects a signal input to the electron-emitting device corresponding to the light-emitting region to be corrected based on the correction value. The correction circuit has an adjustment part that adjusts the correction value, based on variation of characteristics of each of the plurality of the light-emitting regions.
