<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinch roll for a cold-rolled steel strip which can apply a sufficient tension force without increase of cost. <P>SOLUTION: The pinch roll for a cold-rolled steel strip comprise a lower roll fixed on a pass-line and made of rubber whose friction coefficient to a steel strip coated with rust-preventive oil is 0.09 to 0.15, and a upper roll movable upward and downward vertically with respect to the pass-line and made of rubber whose friction coefficient to the steel strip coated with the rust-preventive oil is 0.2 to 0.4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
