METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING LOCATION OF END DEVICE WHICH MOVES UNDER WPAN

A method and a system for recognizing a location of an end device moving in a WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) are provided to minimize active time of a mobile node by reducing transceived data, which is needed for recognizing the location. A router(130) is installed to a predefined location and receivers end device ID information from a moving end device(150) through a MAC(Media Access Control) layer communication. A coordinator(120) configures and manages a Zigbee network, and receives the end device ID information and router ID information from the router. A location recognition server(110) receives the end device ID information and the router ID information from the coordinator. The location recognition server produces the location or a managed area of the router by corresponding to the router ID information. The location recognition server determines the produced location or managed area as the location of the end device corresponding to the end device ID information.
