METHOD FOR OBTAINING SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for obtaining a synchronous signal is provided to obtain an SFN(Single Frequency Network) combining gain of broadcasting information through a P-BCH. A total frequency band is classified into a synchronization band and a usual band for transmitting MBMS(Multicast Broadcast Multimedia Service) data. A PSS for the exclusive MBMS is searched in a synchronous band(S110). The PSS for the exclusive MBMS is detected through the synchronous band. The P-BCH is decoded from the terminal(S130). The synchronous band is positioned in the center of the total frequency band.
