A payment system using a portable phone number as an account and a service method thereof are provided to make a buyer pay the buying cost through only a portable phone. An operation management server(300) transmits and receives corresponding information required for the product buying to and from a buyer terminal(100), transmits transaction information to the buyer terminal through an ARS(Automatic Response System), and then determines whether to approve or refuse the transaction through a password signal inputted from the buyer terminal. A mobile communication company server(400) bills the buyer terminal for the cost. |
