A high functional black coating layer of a portable electronic device case and a coating method and system for the same are provided to keep the product surface clean by forming a metal film coating layer on the case through ion-plating method. A method for forming a high functional black coating layer on a portable electronic device case is characterized in that a chrome layer(20) is deposited on a surface(10) of the portable electronic device case through ion-plating method and then a chromium nitride layer(30) is deposited on the chrome layer. The chrome layer is formed in argon gas atmosphere in which argon gas and nitrogen gas are mixed at the ratio of 100:30.
