METHOD FOR QUICK SEARCH OF DESTINATION AND NAVIGATION SYSTEM FOR EXECUTING THE METHOD

A destination abridgment searching method and a navigation system for performing the same are provided to perform quick and simple destination search by setting up a part of search condition in advance. A destination abridgment searching method comprises: a step of setting up high class search condition in advance(S101); and a step of providing a searching menu including the high class search condition according to a menu start command of a user(S102). The step of setting up the high class search condition comprises: a step of performing an environmental setting menu in order to set up the high class search condition; a step of inputting the high class search condition about address through the environmental setting menu in case of the destination search by an IP address lookup mode; and step of storing the inputted high class search condition about the destination search of the IP address lookup mode.
