INTERACTIVE TELEVISION BASED OF ELECTRONIC COMMERCE SERVICE METHOD AND SYSTEM USING SMART CARD

An interactive television based electronic commerce service method using a smart card and a system thereof are provided to supply a smart card to a subscription terminal for an interactive television service, thereby enabling users to conveniently perform login of shopping malls through one smart card. Membership information transmitted from a shopping mall server corresponding to a specific shopping mall broadcasting channel is recorded in a smart card. A membership list information screen including a list of users subscribed to the shopping mall of the specific shopping mall broadcast channel is displayed through search of membership information stored in the smart card. Login to the shopping mall server is requested by checking a selected user among users included in the membership list information(S90). Authentication necessary for login is performed by the membership information(S160).
