<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board connector for simplifying fixing work for a circuit board by eliminating the need for fastening components such as machine screws and screws to reduce cost when fixing the circuit board to the connector. <P>SOLUTION: The board connector 10 includes a connector housing 2, terminal fittings 4, 6 having extending portions 4L, 6L extending from one end wall 2c of the connector housing via bent portions to front ends 4s, 6s where the front ends are inserted into the circuit board 30 and soldered, and a fixing means 2h extending from one end wall for fixing the circuit board in engagement with a cutout 32 of the circuit board at a position where the circuit board is soldered to the front ends. The fixing means has a chuck portion 2j which is inserted into the cutout when inserting the front ends into the circuit board in the extending direction of the front ends and which is unfolded when further inserted into the cutout, to prevent the fall-off of the circuit board, and a stopper portion 2k which abuts on the circuit board at a position where the chuck portion is unfolded, to prevent further insertion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
