PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely carry out a desired function when in use, without being restricted by a position of a rotation operating member. SOLUTION: An electronic device includes a plurality of pressure detecting means arranged in a rotation direction of a rotation operating member and detecting pressure on the rotation operating member separated from a rotation center, a processing means to make perform one of a plurality of functions of the electronic device in accordance with outputs from the plurality of pressure detecting means, and a rotation detecting means detecting rotation of the rotation detecting means. The processing means changes a function corresponding to an output from each pressure means in accordance with a rotation phase of the rotation operating member detected by the rotation detecting means.
