<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission shaft capable of avoiding interference between a snap ring and the other member and firmly fixing the snap ring in a snap ring groove. <P>SOLUTION: The shaft 30 has a male spline section 34, a small-diameter section 38 arranged at a shaft-end side of the male spline section 34, and the snap ring groove 32 provided in the small-diameter section 38 on its outer periphery. In the snap ring groove 32, an outer diameter of a hill section 36 formed at a shaft end side is set up to locate at an outer diameter side rather than a root section 34b of the male spline section 34 and at an inner diameter side rather than a top section 34a of the male spline section 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
